The Ministry of Justice’s Residence Management Division is conducting an online survey targeting international students to assess their interest in part-time work within the childcare and domestic assistance sectors. With rising demand for labor in these areas, the ministry is considering options to allow foreign students with D-2 visas, enrolled in degree programs in Korea, to work part-time in these fields.
The survey, running from October 30 to November 20, is open to foreign students currently studying in Korea on D-2 visas. It aims to collect student input on topics including willingness to work in these areas, preferred hourly wages, working hours, and other relevant conditions.
Eligible students are encouraged to participate by completing the survey via the provided online link. Responses will be valuable in shaping policy for part-time employment opportunities available to international students in Korea. Here is the survey link:
