Discover The Dongguk Post, the official English-language newspaper of Dongguk University, which covers school news and events and produces various content for international Donggukians.
Introduction
Founded in 1966 and now in its 58th year, The Dongguk Post is the official press organization of the University Media Center. This long-standing organization has been with Dongguk University since its inception. Composed of undergraduate students, the newspaper publishes English-language articles based on information obtained from on-campus and off-campus sources to International Donggukians informed.
Newspaper Publication
The Dongguk Post publishes three newspapers per semester, termed the opening, middle, and closing editions. Below, the key contents of the newspaper and where to receive the paper will be introduced to help foreign students who are curious about the school’s news.

The Dongguk Post newspaper, which is published three times each semester and six times a year, consists of eight pages and is revised and maintained with content that can be useful to students. The contents that foreign students and exchange students may find interesting include Campus and Clip articles, which contain current news from the campus; Trip articles, which provide recommendations for travel destinations in Korea; and Social articles, which provide a perspective on current social issues in Korea. There are also meaningful opportunities for students to contribute their own articles to the paper, and students who are interested can contact us via email, which is written at the end of this article.

“How and where can I get The Dongguk Post newspaper?”
There are distribution tables near the entrance of all buildings on Dongguk University’s Seoul campus. It is bound inside the Dongdaeshinmun newspaper, the official Korean-language newspaper of Dongguk University, so students who are interested in the school newspaper are encouraged to take a copy.
The Dongguk Post will continue to strive to be the go-to newspaper for all Donggukians, especially exchange students and foreign students who have language barriers in receiving campus news.
