Dongguk University announced that the operation of the Lee Hae-Rang Theater, located near the construction site of the new Lotus Hall, will be temporarily halted. The construction is expected to be completed by August 2028. During this period, the movement of construction vehicles and noise interference will make it impossible to hold performances, leading the theater to suspend all external rentals from 2025 to 2028.
In addition, access to surrounding areas will be restricted due to construction activities, and the theater parking lot will be unavailable during the construction period. Visitors and Donggukians are advised to enter through the main gate, use the paid underground parking lot, and walk to their destination.
