In celebration of Hangeul Day, the 31st Annual Korean Language Writing Contest for Foreign Nationals will be held. Hosted by the Korean Language Institute of the Language Research and Education Institute at Yonsei University, the contest is designed to encourage interest in the Korean language among foreign nationals and to promote its beauty through creative writing. Anyone studying Korean is welcome to participate, and the event will offer a meaningful opportunity for people from diverse backgrounds to share their skills and experiences.
The writing contest will take place on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, from 9:30 A.M. to 1 P.M. at the Korean Language Institute, Yonsei University. The awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, October 30th, 2025, from 3 P.M. to 4:30 P.M. in Room 115 (Main Auditorium) of the same building.
