I cannot believe that my life at The Dongguk Post for the past two years has already ended. My past experiences as a reporter for The Dongguk Post will remain unforgettable memories in my life. Looking back on the most memorable moment, I remember when I went to Gwanghwamun Station to cover the site when I was in charge of social coverage and when I wrote my first article with excitement and nervousness.
In the past, I liked doing things using English, and I was very interested in writing. Therefore, I applied for The Dongguk Post, and fortunately, I got an interview and was finally accepted. At that time, I was not familiar with the experience at such an official school institution, so I was very worried about whether I could do well. However, I had such good seniors and coworkers, and I was able to learn many things from them. As time passed, when our weekly meeting time approached every Monday, I could find myself looking forward to the meeting time because I was excited to discuss ideas with people rather than getting nervous. As I gradually became more accustomed to the activities here, my interest in writing articles grew, and I became truly passionate about it.
Looking back at my past two years, I can see how much I have grown. First of all, I can write my thoughts well in writing. I can also handle design tools such as Photoshop, which was previously unavailable, and I have edited a video for a joint activity with DUBS. Such experiences are very small, but I was able to grow one step further in this process. Since I tend to be cautious with things, I usually do not dive into new challenges. Participating in The Dongguk Post was a challenge for me, and it helped me grow.
I am sure that my experiences over the past two years at The Dongguk Post will be a valuable asset to me. Whatever I do in the future, these experiences will remain valuable memories and, even if I forget them over time, they will still be remembered as enjoyable moments. I would like to thank the post reporters who have been with me for two years and praise myself for working hard.
