After completing my two-year term at The Dongguk Post, I am stepping down from the position of Campus Desk Editor. My first article was about the basketball craze in Korea, where I conducted interviews with professors and collaborated with DUBS through joint coverage. Now, my final article is about to be published. Over these two years, I experienced numerous challenges, learned invaluable lessons, and found solace in the simple joy of seeing my work in print, even during difficult times.

As a Cub Reporter, I was busy learning the workflow of the senior reporters while adapting to the layout design and publication cycle. Six months later, as a Post Reporter, I dedicated myself to mastering the intricacies of page editing for the first time. There were moments of immense pressure, such as the time when we had to prepare a newspaper publication with just four reporters in office.

During my last semester, as a Campus Desk Editor, I often wrestled with balancing between fulfilling my responsibilities as a reporter and navigating my own career path, leading to countless internal conflicts and reflections. Looking back, while there were difficulties, a sense of anxiety and even moments of doubts, I do not regret my time at The Dongguk Post. Even if I happened to go back in time, I would make the same choices and face the same challenges again, feeling confident that the process would lead to even greater personal growth.

The Dongguk Post allowed me to reflect on my youth, to consider the kind of person I want to become, and to realize the passion needed to move forward. It gave me a sense of belonging, for which I am deeply grateful. I also thank The Dongguk Post for teaching me how to craft meaningful writing and for helping me explore the issues we must contemplate and address in the modern society. When I look back on my university life, I am certain The Dongguk Post will hold a permanent place in those memories. This experience will always remain a part of me, and someday, I hope to revisit these memories with pride and gratitude.
