The 16th Nalanda Festival, organized by the Eunjung Institute for the Promotion of Buddhist Culture and the Propagation Office of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism, will be held from August 30 to 31, 2024. We invite everyone to participate and show your interest.

The Nalanda Festival is a gathering that brings together youths and the general public interested in our traditional culture and Buddhist culture, fostering harmony and unity. Since its inception in 2009, the festival has grown into the nation's largest youth festival, attracting over 20,000 participants each year. We hope you will join us in experiencing the beauty and elegance of our traditional culture and enriching yourself with Buddhist culture through the various events offered at the Nalanda Festival.

The festival will be divided into three main sections: Traditional Culture Experiences, an Academic and Career Expo, and a Closing Ceremony. Notable events include the "Buddhist Doctrine Quiz Contest," "Youth Traditional Culture Festival," "Sangwol Gyeolsa Pilgrimage Experience," and the "Eunjung Traditional Arts and Korean Music Competition." Prizes or souvenirs will be awarded at each event, so we encourage active participation to win some exciting rewards.
