The Korea-Mekong Youth Group Workshop will be held from August 19th to 23rd at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI). The workshop is open to undergraduate and graduate students from Korea and the five Mekong countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam) who are interested in international relations cooperation between Korea and the Mekong region. The program aims to foster the next generation of leaders in the Mekong region through theoretical learning and group projects on the application of supercomputing, big data analysis, and artificial intelligence. Participants must be able to conduct and present meetings in English and participate in the program, including preliminary training.
The workshop will include lectures by experts on supercomputing, AI applications, and data analytics, and discussions on project proposals for Mekong-Korea cooperation utilizing the convergence of High Performance Computing (HPC) & AI & DATA. Participants will receive round-trip airfare, cost for accommodation and meals, certificate of completion by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the President of KISTI, and a workshop souvenir.
