The 64th anniversary of the 4.19 Revolution and the 52nd Dongguk Mountaineering Competition were held on April 12th. Our university continues the tradition of holding a memorial ceremony and hiking competitions at the April 19th National Cemetery every Friday before April 19th. This event is held annually to honor the noble spirits of the seniors who were sacrificed by the 4.19 Revolution and to promote harmony and pride. During the first part of the event, a memorial ceremony was held, and in the second part, a mountaineering competition for Donggukian, was held in Bukhansan Mountain. Student A said, “It was an honor to participate in a meaningful event, and it was nice to make good memories while hiking with my friends.” Moreover, the on-campus memorial ceremony will be held at Manhae Hall at 11 A.M. on April 19th.
