Applications for the 17th Proud Family Award will begin, and applications will be accepted until 17:00 on April 18.
The "Proud Dongguk Family Award" began with a special affection for the university and began to select Dongguk family members who became members of the university for generations or families, marking its 17th anniversary.
Applications are eligible for three or more immediate generations of children who are ethnic Koreans, or more than five are family members who are ethnic Koreans. In addition, Dongguk's standards are limited to undergraduate, graduate, and former and current faculty members of Dongguk University. The scope of family recognition is limited to △ the principal and spouse △ spouses of direct and direct blood relatives, and △ branched blood relatives within 4 cousins and their spouses.
The award ceremony will take place at the opening ceremony, which will be held on May 2nd at the middle auditorium in the main building, and applicants and their families must participate. The selected family will be presented with plaques and souvenirs.
