[Notice] 2026–2027 Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program
Dongguk University’s Office of International Affairs has announced the opening of applications for the 2026–2027 Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Program, encouraging interested international students to apply. This prestigious scholarship, funded by the Hungarian government, offers opportunities for studies across various levels, from bachelor’s and one-cycle master’s programs to master’s, doctoral, and non-degree programs.
Up to 100 students will be selected this year, with applications open to all academic fields. However, applicants to medical-related disciplines such as medicine, pharmacy, and veterinary science must carefully review the specific guidelines and additional requirements outlined in the official instructions. Selected scholars will receive full tuition coverage, a monthly stipend, health insurance, and accommodation support; only airfare must be covered by the student.
The application process consists of an online submission followed by document submission to the National Institute for International Education (NIIED). All applicants must first complete the online application through the program’s official website (apply.stipendiumhungaricum.hu) and then send the required documents to NIIED via email (niied1382@korea.kr). Applicants to medical-related fields are exempt from the email submission requirement.
The deadline for both the online application and email submission is January 15th, 2026,Thursday, 2 P.M. Central European Time, so applicants are advised to prepare their materials well in advance.
