[Notice] Dokdo Foundation Launches Participant Survey for 2025 Dokdo Tour for Foreign Residents in Korea

   The Dokdo Foundation has announced the preliminary schedule for its “2025 Dokdo Tour for Foreign Residents in Korea,” which will take place from October 29th (Wednesday) to October 31st (Friday), 2025. The three-day program invites native English teachers, international students, and other foreign nationals residing in Korea to explore Dokdo through a fully funded trip aimed at strengthening global awareness of the island’s historical and territorial significance.

   Participants will assemble on the evening of October 29th at the Ulleung Cruise Passenger Terminal in Pohang. Boarding passes, commemorative items, bottled water, and safety instructions will be distributed prior to boarding the ferry to Ulleungdo.

   On October 30th, the tour will feature an on-site visit to Dokdo, followed by excursions to the Ahn Yong-bok Memorial Hall, the Dokdo Yongsu Defense Memorial Hall, and the Ulleungdo-Dokdo Ocean Research Station. These visits are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the historical narratives and maritime significance surrounding the territory.

   The final day, October 31st, will begin with a visit to the Dokdo Museum, followed by a walking tour along Ulleung Haedamgil, a scenic coastal trail that offers panoramic views and cultural insights. The official schedule is expected to conclude at 7:20 P.M., after which participants will return to Pohang via ferry.
