[Notice] 2025 NEAR Youth Leaders Forum

   The NEAR Secretariat is now accepting applications for the 2025 Youth Leaders Forum, to be held under the theme “Global Green Growth and the Role of Youth Leaders.” The forum will take place from August 4 (Monday) to August 8 (Friday), 2025, at Handong Global University in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Korea. 

   A total of 50 young participants from NEAR member countries—including Korea, Japan, China, Mongolia, Russia, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan—will be selected for this international exchange program. Applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 30 and currently residing in Korea or overseas. As the entire program will be conducted in Korean, all participants must be able to give presentations and actively engage in discussions in Korean.

   The application deadline is Friday, July 4, 2025. Online interviews will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, and the final list of selected participants will be announced on Friday, July 11, 2025.

  Participation in the program is free of charge. However, participants are responsible for covering their own round-trip transportation expenses to Pohang Station, including KTX fares.
