[466 Round-up] Dongguk University, Toward the Next 120 Years

   Dongguk University, founded in 1906 by Buddhist pioneers, will celebrate its 120th anniversary in 2026. In November, a contest was held to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Dongguk  University. It was held to develop slogans, commemorative projects, and event ideas to reflect on the past 120 years and prepare for the next 120 years.

   One of the major development plans, Dongguk Meta Plan 120, is a task that Donggukians must work together to achieve “a better Dongguk, a better future.” This plan, which runs from 2023 to 2026, addresses Dongguk’s development tasks after its 120th anniversary through the goal of Dongguk University that contributes to humanity with innovative imagination.
