[Notice] International Express Mail Service Support for Foreign Residents and Multicultural Families

   The Seoul Regional Post Office offers discount benefits for foreign residents and multicultural families. This service is an international express mail service that quickly and safely delivers urgent letters, documents, and parcels abroad. For documents that do not require customs clearance, items sent in the morning from the Seoul area will be delivered promptly within two to five days. Registration can be easily completed via the internet and smartphones, and the delivery status can be checked immediately.

   10% discount applies to international express mail (EMS) shipments for foreign residents and multicultural families. Eligible recipients include F-6 (marriage immigrants), D-2 (international students), D-4 (general trainees), E-9 (non-professional workers), H-2 (visiting workers), F-4 (overseas Koreans), F-1 (visiting and cohabitation), F-2 (residents), F-3 (dependents), F-5 (permanent residents), D-10 (job seekers), and other foreign nationals.

   Required documents include a foreign registration card for personal applications, and for proxy applications, a copy of the foreign registration card, the proxy's ID, and a certificate of family relations. Payments can be made in cash or by credit card, and the service is available at all post offices in Seoul. Using the EMS Smart Registration service provides an extra 3% discount. This smart registration can be accessed via a QR code, where you enter your delivery information and register at the post office with your phone number to receive the discounted rate.
