[Notice] Foreign Language Scholarship of 2024 Spring Semester
The "Excellent Language Scholarship" will be provided to foreign students who have outstanding language grades and who entered during the first semester of 2023-2024. Applications and scholarship eligibility vary depending on the year of admission. Foreign students who entered between 2013 and 2015 must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher from the previous semester, while those who entered after that period must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher from the previous semester to qualify for the scholarship. In addition, returning students will be evaluated based on their grades from the semester before their leave of absence. Students receiving government-invited scholarships or in-school scholarships are not eligible for duplicate benefits. For details on the required language proficiency levels, scholarship amounts, general qualifications, and restrictions on the number of times scholarships can be awarded, please refer to the attached file or the international integrated notice below.
The application period is from 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Applications will not be accepted after this period, so please ensure you adhere to the deadline.
TOPIK grade holders cannot apply in person and must submit their application through the following path: [uDRIMS→Bachelor Information→Scholarship→Language Excellence Scholarship (Foreigners)→Language Excellence Scholarship]. Applicants must ensure that their account number is entered correctly. Note that only JPG files are accepted when uploading language scores; PDF uploads are not allowed. The file name must be in English or Korean, and the image quality must be clear enough to distinguish the letters. Make sure that the authentication code at the top right, which is used to verify the grade's authenticity, is not cut off.
English grade holders must submit their documents in person to the Global Student Team. The required documents include the application form provided by the Global Student Team and a valid language score report. Scholarships will be disbursed in December 2024 for those who apply for the Foreign Language Excellence Scholarship. For applications made during the second semester of 2024, only grades within the validity period of the language score report will be accepted. Failure to apply within the designated period will result in ineligibility for the scholarship.
Additionally, even if you have previously submitted your language score report, you must reapply to receive the scholarship. Since scholarships are paid to the account registered in uDRIMS, it is essential to ensure that your account information is up to date. Applications cannot be made during the second semester of a study-abroad exchange or in the first semester after returning from an exchange program.
