[Notice] 2025 Brazilian Government Scholarship Program (Bachelor Course) Application Guide

  We inform you of the selection of 2025 Brazilian government-invited scholarship students (bachelor course). Interested students are encouraged to apply as follows:

A. Program and Number of Openings: Undergraduate Program, Ο students

B. Scholarship Benefits: Exemption from admission fees and tuition fees at local universities during the scholarship period

※ Accommodation fees, airfare, and other expenses are the responsibility of the student

C. Eligibility: Applicants must be Korean nationals residing in South Korea and meet the following requirements:

     1) 18 years of age or older (recognized if he/she turns 18 on January 1, 2025)

     2) Must have completed a high school curriculum outside of Brazil

: Applicants must have an average score of 60% or higher in all completed courses (For graduates of Korean high schools, an average grade of 4 or higher in all subjects, and an average grade of 4 or higher in the Korean language subject)

※ Even before high school graduation, you can apply for the PEC-G program, and if you are selected, you must submit your graduation certificate when entering Brazil University.

     3) Must not hold Brazilian nationality (Applicants with dual nationality that includes Brazilian citizenship are not eligible)

     4) Must possess of plan to obtain a Portuguese language proficiency certificate issued by the Brazilian government (Celpe-Bras)

※ Starting this year, you can apply even if you don't have a certificate, but you have to apply for a PEC-PLE course to enter the undergraduate department after studying Portuguese locally.

D. Application Procedure: Prepare the required documents → Contact the Brazilian Embassy in Korea to schedule a visit (via email) → Visit the embassy with the required documents and submit your application

E. Deadline for application: August 23, 2024 (Friday)
