[Notice] Dongguk's Sisterhood University to Recruite Participants for Summer Program

Dongguk University's sisterhood university (Taiwan, Japan) is recruiting participants for the 2024 summer short-term training program.

1. Taiwan, National Central University

- The NCS 2024 Summer Program operates in three courses, and you can select and support the courses you wish to participate in. 

1) Chinese Language & Culture Immersion in Taiwan (17th June ~ 4th July)

2) Chinese Language & Culture Immersion in Taiwan (17th June ~ 19th July)

3) Interdisciplinary Artificial Intelligence (8th July ~ 19th July)

- All four selected participants will be exempted from 100% of the program tuition fees, and only two selected candidates will be given additional exemption from dormitory fees. Students who have completed two semesters or more and take a leave of absence with an average of 3.5 or more can apply for the program, and those who do not have Chinese official language scores can also apply. 

Applications will be accepted by 11 a.m. on February 16, and will be processed normally only if you have completed your application for U-Dreams and submitting your math plan. 

2. Japan, Tenri University

- Tenri Univ. Summer Japan Language Course offers the following activities.

1) 30 hours of Japanese language classes taught by experienced lecturers

2) Field trips to places of historic significance including Tenri, Asuka and Kyoto

3) A day tour to Universal Studios Japan in Osaka or Awaji Island & Naruto Strait Whirlpools 

- It takes place during the 8th to 20th Julie (13 days), and our university selects about 0 people. Selected undergraduate/graduate students and students on leave of absence from this school must pay 130,000 yen to participate in the program. In addition, in order to participate in the program, the 'conditions for participation' specified by other Tenri universities must be met. 

Applications are accepted by 5 p.m. on April 8, and the application will be completed only after completing both U-Dreams application and Tenri University's online application (Google Form). Since there is no separate quota for Dongguk University allocation within the recruitment quota, it is recommended to apply quickly if you wish to participate.
